New Transformers 4 image epitomizes Michael Bay

If you were to take one picture and say it summarized Michael Bay's entire existence it would probably be this one. Bay shared the picture from the upcoming Transformers 4: Age of Extinction on his site and as you can se...

Snaps of Megan Fox as April O'Neil released

Sigh. Michael Bay's ruin-everything-crusade is now landing into the TMNT universe with a thudding smash of expected disappointment. These sentences can barely contain my apathy. Here's some shots of Megan Fox looking vaguely ...

New images and a bit more plot for Thor: The Dark World

We're patiently waiting for the Thor: The Dark World trailer, but why not have some non-moving images to tide us over until then. Here we get another look at Thor holding his hammer, which is pretty much one of the most redun...

Trailer: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire photo
Trailer: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
by Nick Valdez

I took a bullet for all of you. Tonight (or last night depending on when you see this) I watched through the MTV Movie Awards (and its multiple Ted nominations for some reason) just so I could grab this teaser for all of you. Should I have? Maybe not, but I'm super excited for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The sequel leads off right where the first film ends. Katniss and Peeta are currently in a Victory Tour across the 12 Districts until the 75th Hunger Games (known as the Quarter Quell) forces them to re-compete against past champions. The teaser looks brilliant. Phillip Seymour Hoffman gets a few lines (which automatically makes it better), not a hint of shakycam in sight, and somewhere along the line the sequel seems to have fixed the narrative problems the first had. Can't wait until November 22nd. I threw a couple of new images in the gallery below. Check those out as well.

First image from Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac

For a movie titled Nymphomaniac, this first official image is really underwhelming. If your mind is in the gutter, that is. Von Trier isn't one to disappoint, however, and it has long since been confirmed that there will...

New pics from Dark Shadows, MIB, Abe Lincoln: Vamp Hunter photo
New pics from Dark Shadows, MIB, Abe Lincoln: Vamp Hunter
by Sean Walsh

I really haven't read anything about Tim Burton's Dark Shadows movie because one, the TV show bored me to tears as a child and two, it's likely going to be another Burton/Depp Hot Topic wank-fest. Then I saw the picture in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. Now I'm a little more excited.

Check it out in the gallery along with an AWESOME picture of Benjamin Walker as Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, more of Andrew Garfield in the Spidey suit (sans mask, that's a no-no!) from Amazing Spider-Man, and Will Smith and Josh Brolin on some goofy looking vehicles for Men in Black 3. These movies all have the potential to kick some ass, and these pictures have me even more hyped for all of them!

Also, remember when Michelle Pfeiffer was hot? Some of you might be too young to remember, but trust me, she was. I think I have a VHS of Batman Returns here somewhere...

The Dark Knight Rises shares new pics, plot details photo
The Dark Knight Rises shares new pics, plot details
by Alex Katz

A bunch of new pictures and details have come out on The Dark Knight Rises, the final Batman film from Christopher Nolan, and they paint an interesting picture, to say the least. Thanks to Empire Magazine, we now know that Dark Knight Rises takes place eight years after The Dark Knight, with an older, possibly more unstable Bruce Wayne, as he can't be in a good place after nearly a decade on the run from the cops. There's no telling how this will change the film's dynamic, compared to Dark Knight, but it sounds like an inspired idea. I really want to see how it shakes out!

We also learn a bit more about Bane and why, in Nolan's more realistic Bat-verse, he's wearing a weird gimp mask. The prequel playing in front of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol will basically be the first seven or eight minutes of the movie, just like with The Dark Knight's IMAX prequel, and will introduce us to Bane. There's a quote on that after the jump, so check it out! I feel like this is sounding better and better

(also, welcome back from downtime!)

Lots o' pictures from Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas

Plant your eye-lookers at these Avengers stills photo
Plant your eye-lookers at these Avengers stills
by Alex Katz

Last week, we showed you a few stills from The Avengers, and this week, we're RIGHT back in with even more! One, granted, is just a higher resolution version of a pic we carried last week, but you know what? This one's prettier, and thus it's better. Prettier things are always the better things. That's proven by laws. Laws of men. Men that move mountains with sweat and elbow grease. Men that build motorcycles out of used teeth and Detroit steel. I don't know where I'm going with this at all.

Hey, look! Avengers stills! One is a behind the scenes photo! I actually really like the one of Steve Rogers (Christ Evans) looking at his new outfit while looking particularly time-lost, judging from his civilian garb. Check them all out in the gallery below!

Have a look at a whole mess of Tintin pictures photo
Have a look at a whole mess of Tintin pictures
by Alex Katz

I know a lot of you are feeling uneasy about The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn thanks to the film's motion capture tech and the general Uncanny Valley-ness of many of the character designs. We have a new batch of pictures from the film, and I honestly can't say if they'll swing your opinion one way or another. They are certainly a batch of pictures from Tintin is all I can really say.

What do you think of them? How's Tintin's upcoming debut looking to you?
