I've been worried how Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg were possibly going to follow up This is the End, hands down one of the best films of 2013, after their recently produced effort Neighbors showed quite a few cracks in their...

First trailer for animated Lucasfilm, Strange Magic

Now here's something that came out of absolutely nowhere. This must've been buried under all of that Star Wars after Disney acquired Lucasfilm, but apparently, Strange Magic is an animated film inspired by a story from Georg...

First official trailer for Pitch Perfect 2

I once wrote an article on why making a sequel to Pitch Perfect, one of the most charming films of 2012, was a bad idea. The first is kind of dumb, Glee isn't the juggernaut it was a few years ago, but through all of that, I...

First full trailer for Escobar: Paradise Lost

I'd developed a taste for drug stories growing up, and Pablo Escobar was the subject of a majority of them. A Columbian cocaine juggernaut in the 80s-90s (who most likely inspired the "Columbian drug lord" trope in films tod...

First trailer for The Cobbler, starring Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler signs on for so many films for the money, it's hard to parse whether or not he's in that one winning film he gets every couple of years. It's clear that he's got talent, but it's a shame to see him go down such ...

Newest trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey will see you now

First official teaser trailer for The Divergent Series: Insurgent

Despite some hangups, I liked Divergent. It's got an interesting world and the cast was well put together, but the whole thing was just stuck in cement. Pace was mishandled, the world was skipped over in favor of two ho...

Trailer for Mortdecai features another "wacky" Johnny Depp

Final trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 photo
Final trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1
by Nick Valdez

With the final trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, the awesome marketing this film has had comes to a close. From great propaganda style teasers and posters, to how few trailers for the film we actually got (usually we're told of like twenty of these videos a day, I'm going to miss Mockingjay. I'm sure the film'll be great too.

As the final book in The Hunger Games series, Mockingjay finally explored themes outside of its original (but not very unique) premise. The first half is definitely the best part, so I can't wait to see the results. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 has got that fire, fire, fire and it's gonna let it burn November 21st.
