First trailer for Run All Night starring Liam Neeson

I don't know about you all, but I miss the super dramatic Liam Neeson. Sure his latest career trend has been awesome, and in reverse as you'd expect a young man to take on a bunch of action films and gradually join Oscar nom...

Fan edit of Marvel's Ant-Man trailer makes it a bit better

After the release of the first trailer for Marvel's Ant-Man a few days ago, talk around the water cooler led me to believe most people found it underwhelming. I'd sadly agree. I'm fond of how weird it's going to be, but some...

Batman v Superman trailer may be attached to Jupiter Ascending

Look, we all know something is seriously wrong with Jupiter Ascending. The film was pushed back from a blockbuster holiday release to a dead zone release of February 6. Am I still excited for the film? Yes, it's an original i...

The Voices trailer delivers more than it appears

In the realm of talking animal movies there's pretty much one genre and that genre is children's comedies. The Voices is not that. Yes, it has talking animals, but it's also a dark comedy with slasher instincts. Plus, it...

Olivia Wilde is just the perfect combination of hot and interesting to pull of incredibly scary if she needs to. It appears she needs to as she joins Mark Duplass (also that perfect combination) in The Lazarus Effect, which ...

First official trailer for Marvel's Ant-Man photo
First official trailer for Marvel's Ant-Man
by Nick Valdez

It's been a bumpy road for Marvel's Ant-Man. From former director Edgar Wright publicly leaving the project, to multiple writers tackling rewrites, to multiple cast additions late in production, the odds have certainly been stacked against Marvel's most likely weirdest superhero.

But as Guardians of the Galaxy proves, having oddball content doesn't mean failure. Folks flocked to that film and it was regarded as one of Marvel's best by most fans. So what will the future hold for Ant-Man? If this first trailer is indication, maybe it's good things.

Ant-Man releases July 17th.

You know how I wrote that list of the ten best trailers of 2014? Well, I've already found my favorite trailer of 2015. It may be mostly the same as last trailer we got for The Peanuts Movie, but shows off what great trailer ...

First trailer for Entourage film reunites the... entourage

I'm actually the last person who should be writing about the Entourage movie since I never got into the show at all and when I did watch it I wasn't that into it. I know. I'm a terrible person, but Dre is gone so you get...

Will Ferrell gets hard in the first trailer for Get Hard

So folks still like Kevin Hart? I'm not going to fault him for making money off a bunch of cheap comedies, but there's something particularly troublesome about his latest project with Will Ferrell, Get Hard. This first trail...

Newest trailer for American Sniper is American

I'm not usually one for these "America" films, but Clint Eastwood has proven time and time again he's good at deconstructing the jingoistic nature of the country. I've been gripped by American Sniper ever since its first tra...

This 12 Days of Christmas-themed Taken 3 trailer actually exists

First trailer for Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups

I don't have very much experience with Terrence Malick's films, but while I don't necessarily "get" his movies myself, I understand why he's a big deal. Filmed back in 2012, Knight of Cups is finally primed for a 2015 releas...

Trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road has a road...it is furious

You never know quite what you're getting with Mad Max, and Fury Road will deliver that bonkers mentality in spades. With this trailer (and the one released around San Diego Comic-Con) I'm already won over completely. Stunning visuals, comic grit, and we have yet to see Tom Hardy say a word. Calling it early, 2015 Movie of the Year for sure Mad Max: Fury Road opens May 15th next year.
