There really has not been any specific details’ regarding Guillermo del Toro’s next project from Legendary Pictures, Crimson Peak. The newest detail coming from Variety is that Benedict Cumberbatch is joining the cast and will be starring alongside Emma Stone and Charlie Hunnam. Details regarding his character and the plot still remain unknown, but don’t expect any information any time soon. Shooting for the film isn’t supposed to start until next year. Hopefully we will hear more information about Crimson Peak sometime soon.
Cumberbatch has been involved in a lot of films lately and will continue to be busy. He is in Star Trek Into Darkness, he stars in 12 Years a Slave from director Steve McQueen, he has two roles in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and he also plays Julian Assange in the WikiLeaks movie, The Fifth Estate.
