Well, sort of. Chris Evans is in talks to play the lead in Snowpiercer from director Bong Joon-Ho, most famous for his monster movie The Host, which is South Korea's highest grossing movie of all time. Park Chan-Wook, he of Oldboy fame, will produce and is credited as co-writer.

Few details about the movie have been revealed, although it will be in the English language - a first for Bong Joon-Ho, although Park Chan-Wook recently wrapped filming on his domestic directorial debut Stoker with Mia Wasikowska and Nicole Kidman - and concerns a world wrapped in perpetual winter where a train carriage full of survivors have to find a way of co-existing and presumably putting up with that guy who keeps leaving his stinky socks lying around. Appropriately enough, Evans is just coming to the end of the shoot on his current project, entitled The Ice Man.

Production on Snowpiercer is expected to begin in March.

Not too long ago we reported that Bong Joon-Ho's Snowpiercer would be getting cut by 20 minutes for US release because The Weinstein Company thinks flyover country is full of slackjawed dummies with short attention spans. It ...

Bong Joon-ho's Snowpiercer will be out next week in South Korea, and here's the final trailer for the film (at least until it goes international). Everything's looking wonderfully intense and apocalyptic. Given, it's shorter...
Although this trailer is a little wonky (the sound has a few problems), I can't just ignore new footage of Bong Joon-Ho's Snowpiercer. The film may be only opening in South Korea in August (with no domestic release date...
Usually "gritty" imagery doesn't get me particularly excited by things, but I can't pretend that seeing these character posters for Bong Joon-Ho's upcoming Snowpiercer don't give me a tingly feeling. Somehow, I missed ju...
