Christopher Nolan in talks to direct Interstellar

It seems like Nolan's follow up to the Batman trilogy is the sci-fi film involving wormholes and alternate dimensions, Interstellar. The script was written by his brother, Johnathan Nolan, but not much more is known about the project other than the story being based on the theories of Kip Thorne (a theoretical physicist at Caltech).

Interestingly enough, Steven Spielberg was once attached to direct this feature, but had to back out for some reason. It's most likely for the same reasons that attributed him putting the kibosh on the robot apocalypse. Look forward to more information in the next couple of months.

I wasn't a massive fan of Interstellar, with its insistence on hard sci-fi not meshing ultimately undermining the eventual shift to thematically resonant fantasy, but as a sci-fi film with ambition, I still care about it deep...
2014 was a pretty great year for movies, so coming up with a year end list was pretty tough for me. Originally I thought I'd just do top 5, and then top 10... but no. It had to be top 15 because I saw so many awesome films last year, and it just wouldn't be fair to ignore the movies in the 11 through 15 slots.  So let's get the ball rolling...
Interstellar is the sort of movie that polarized its audience. Some people hated it, other people loved it. I'm in the "loved it" category personally, so I'm enjoying all the speculation about its ending and whether or not it...

Today the critics in DC got information on the upcoming screenings of Interstellar and for some reason it turns out that Christopher Nolan's space film is one minute longer in its non-70mm format. As you hopefully know t...
As Interstellar is one of the few films left making use of physical film over digital, you'll notice a surprising amount of emphasis over it in this most likely final trailer for Christopher Nolan's space hip-hopera (not rea...
I don't really like saying Interstellar is Nolan's "longest film yet," because it might be a trap for his future films to come. What if he just gradually makes his films longer and longer with each entry? Will each film be hi...
With Matthew McConaughey's recent upswing, I've been more inclined to pay attention to his projects. One such project is Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. A science fiction film about wormholes and future corn, who knows wha...
Here it is. Our first actual look at Christopher Nolan's space epic Interstellar. If you're getting a 2001: Space Odyssey vibe you're not alone.  The film is definitely full of Nolan's muted palettes and we're guessing ...
EW has shown off the first images of Insterstellar in their latest issue and with it comes some actual plot points aside from it's going to be about space and the tagline from the poster. Being a Nolan film things are of...
