Hey Washington, D.C. we've got some tickets for an upcoming early screening of Perks of Being a Wallflower on Tuesday, Sept. 25. We have 70 admit one passes and each person can snag two so that you and a friend can check out the coming-of-age comedy. Just go below and grab the Gofobo code and then head over there and enter it in. BAM! Tickets.

The movie has been generating some really solid buzz out of the festivals so it's definitely worth checking out. You'll also get the chance to watch a movie with me as I'll be attending. Doing this has been both described as a religious experience and awe inspiring by those who have done it.

Full details below.

Screening Details:

Tuesday, September 25
7:00pm
Regal Gallery Place
707 Seventh Street NW
Washington, DC

See the Way, Way Back early and free

We got a chance to check out The Way, Way Back at Sundance and absolutely loved it. Comedy mixed with heart and feeling set it apart from a lot of the rest of the films out there. Mix in a stellar cast including Steve Ca...

Trailer: Kick Ass 2

A new zip-zap-zoom fancy trailer for the hyper-violent, hyper-curse-word nonsense sequel to Kick Ass has hit the webs. The trailer shows off more Jim Carrey funtimes while also teasing some detail bits about the ma...

Trailer: R.I.P.D.

I was won over by R.I.P.D. very easily because its lead character is named Nick (and of course it features of one my boos, Mary Louise Parker). Now if all movies could feature a guy named Nick forevermore, I'd be totally coo...

Flix for Short: The Real World: This is the End Edition

This is the End is one of the funniest films of the year so far if you're a fan of Seth Rogen and his gang. Even if you're not, you're still going to find yourselves laughing. A good gauge of how funny This is the End is goi...

Review: This is the End

I've been harsh toward This is the End from the very beginning. First batch of trailers painted the film as a "Hey look at [enter famous name here] acting wacky!" sort of comedy, but as the trailers rolled on and hinted at th...

Review: The Internship

You may have seen The Onion skewering of The Internship as a fantastic film for 2005. It's pretty funny, but the truth of the matter is this isn't a 2005 film. It isn't a 2013 film either. This is an 80s movie and it's d...

Trailer: The Family

In Luc Besson's The Family, Robert DeNiro returns to one of his best forms - a mobster trying to stay out of trouble, and failing. The movie centers around DeNiro's character and his tough-as-nails family; his wife played by...

Trailer: The To Do List

Ahhh, the teenage sex comedy; so easy to get wrong and yet so good when it's right. Kind of like sex. Which I've had. With women. I mean my wife and only my wife. She reads this so lets make that perfectly clear. I should pr...

Red Band Trailer: Kick-Ass 2

The last trailer for Kick-Ass 2 left me very un-enthused for the film. It just didn't seem to have the same dark comedic streak that the first one had. With a new director and screenwriter that makes sense, but it just ...

BFF Review: Black Out

Two things struck me when the opening credits of Black Out came on: 1) there was a lot of style and flash in a good way, and 2) the festival's digital copy was low res. As the text appeared, so did fuzzy squares and breaks in...
