From director Tony Kaye (American History X) and screenwriter Carl Lund comes classroom drama Detachment, staring Adrien Brody as a no-nonsense substitute teacher. The trailer looks packed full of serious drama stuff including some teacher-on-student-action and hardcore desk throwing. American History X is a pretty fantastic drama, and Adrien Brody can be really wonderful in roles like this, so we'll have to see if the whole movie really pulls everything together or not.
