Flix for Short: Paper War

Feb 04 // Nick Valdez

Paper War, a graduation project by Su Zhiwu and Liao Xiangzhong from the Communication University of China, is about two paper drawings fighting over a girl drawing. While it's hard to ignore some of the themes of the film, they really shouldn't be a detriment to how awesomely animated this is. As these drawings interact with real world objects, it looks pretty good from where I'm sitting. It's all fine as long as you're good with fights and stuff.

Still, a toilet paper waterfall? So cute.
