Flixclusive: Joel Murray talks Monsters University photo

Recently, I had the chance to speak to the stars of Bobcat Goldthwait's latest film God Bless America. During a great interview with Joel Murray (which will be going up this week), I managed to get some new information about Monsters University, the Pixar prequel to Monsters Inc.

When asked about his character, Joel had this to say:

"We're all in a pretty lame frat, and I'm a business man who's been fired...his company has downsized. So gosh darnit, I'm going to go back and learn computers! So, I play Don Carlson, a mature student in the fraternity. Kind of a goofy role."

He also went on to say that working with Dan Scanlon, the film's director, has been a great experience. When Pixar announced the film last year, I had my worries. Was the plot just going to be some rehash of Toy Story 1? But after talking to Joel, I have a lot of my faith restored in this film.
