I'd like to ruin Cobie Smulders in new Avengers stills

6:00 PM on 03.02.2012 // Alex Katz

These are the first real shots of Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) as S.H.I.E.L.D. second-in-command Maria Hill. Comics fans will remember Maria Hill as the woman that took over S.H.I.E.L.D. after director Nick Fury went AWOL, and her brusque, no-nonsense demeanor probably exacerbated the Captain America/Iron Man feud that lead into the Civil War storyline. In the film, she's still Fury's second-in-command, and we see her here, presumably aboard the Helicarrier, looking gruff and boneable.

I pretty much just posted this because she's a pretty girl, and it's giving me an excuse to look at her for a while. If you'll excuse me, I'll be in my bunk.
