That's right, good old Paul Revere Kevin Smith himself is set to release a Jay and Silent Bob animated feature next Spring! It's being produced by Jason Mewes (Jay, otherwise known as the Snoochie Boochies guy) and will most likely be animated by the same company that does the short animated sequences during Spoilers (given that they share a director, Steve Stark).

Here are a few choice words from Smith himself (via Facebook):

return to dispense weed and wisdom

IN CARTOON FORM!

Yup. What's most interesting is the voice cast consists of famous names like Eliza Dushku, Jon Lovitz, and Neil FREAKIN' Gaiman. I'm sort of interested in watching this now (mostly for the awesome tagline in the image below), and that's a big deal considering Smith's recent efforts.
