Jesus Henry Christ is the story of a 10 year old boy-genius who, much to his single-mother's dismay, embarks on a quest to find his biological father. Written and directed by Dennis Lee, the movie looks like your typical adorable and quirky indie comedy about family, belonging and acceptance. Toni Collette and Michael Sheen star as the boy's witty but awkward parents, and Jason Spevack plays the intelligent and starry-eyed Henry.
While Jesus Henry Christ looks a bit predictable to me, sometimes little indie movies about families end up being pretty amazing, I'm looking at you Little Miss Sunshine, so here's hoping this one keeps it fresh.
