Everybody's self-hating cartoon black man will be starring in his own movie! The Boondocks creator Aaron McGruder announced that a spin-off starring Uncle Ruckus has been submitted for a Kickstarter project. More importantly, McGruder, who will be writing and directing the film, will be shot in live-action and starring the character's voice actor, Gary Anthony Williams.
The Kickstarter page offers some cool rewards, including the upcoming DVD, EP of songs recorded for the film, and even signed copies of the script. The film, which hasn't been written just yet, will focus on Ruckus and his family and won't star any of the series' other characters.
Open your wallets and give McGruder all of your money. Maybe some of that excess money could go towards another season of The Boondocks.
