Megan Fox is April O'Neil in Michael Bay's Ninja Turtles

Casting for motion-capture Ninja Turtle actors is in progress

Even though Michael Bay and Megan Fox had a major falling out while making Transformers, Fox has been cast as April O'Neil in the Bay-produced reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Collider reports that Fox was won over by meetings with Bay and director Jonathan Liebesman. I assume she was also won over by a comically large bag of money.

In addition, Collider reports that unknown actors are being cast to play the Ninja Turtles themselves, who will be motion-capture characters.

If you haven't kept up with our previous reports on this, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are now an alien race of non-teenagers. Ninja Turtles was pushed back to May 16, 2014 in order to rework the really terrible script, but it looks like the temporary reprieve from this thing existing is coming to an end.

How do you feel about the casting of Megan Fox?
