Michael Keaton feels the Need for Speed

So besides Michael Keaton being in the RoboCop reboot, Keaton has signed on to do DreamWork’s Need for Speed adaptation.  It will be an adaptation of the Electronic Arts video game series of the same name.

Also starring in the film is Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad and Dominic Cooper from Captain America: The First Avenger. What’s interesting is that both RoboCop and Need for Speed are to open on February 7, 2014.

According to Heat Vision, Keaton is to play a “reclusive and eccentric host of an underground supercar race.” So maybe he’s Bruce Wayne who just wants to gamble his money on street racing in Gotham? Probably not, but would be an eccentric tie-in.

Trailer: The Croods

For those of you who may not have seen, Dreamworks' Rise of the Guardians hasn't been doing so hot at the box office. In fact, it sorta bombed. Hard. Like, could lose $50 mil hard. What does this have to do with The Cro...

Dreamworks to lose $50M for Rise of the Guardians failure

Regardless of having to only compete with Wreck It-Ralph for children's attention, Rise of the Guardians had a weak opening weekend, losing out to Twilight 5. This paltry performance apparently didn't get any better since, ac...
