New Avengers character posters; someone was in a rushContinuing their tradition of ho-hum poster art, three new character posters for The Avengers have just dropped. They're much like the most recent bad poster for The Avengers in that they look rushed, shopped, and haphazard. They should have just done these new character pieces in MS Paint, or maybe on a Lite-Brite. Posters are not necessarily indicative on the movie itself. The most recent trailer for The Avengers looked very promising, and you can't always judge a film by its poster art in much the same way you can't judge a book by its cover. If that were the case, every movie would be nuts/incredible according to Polish posters, and every book with a John Gall cover would be perfectly composed and devastatingly beautiful. We have all three posters in the gallery. The Avengers will be in theaters on May 4th. If you're feeling adventurous, you can do the Ultimate Marvel Marathon on May 3rd: an all-day viewing of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, and then The Avengers at select theaters.
