Posters are not necessarily indicative on the movie itself. The most recent trailer for The Avengers looked very promising, and you can't always judge a film by its poster art in much the same way you can't judge a book by its cover. If that were the case, every movie would be nuts/incredible according to Polish posters, and every book with a John Gall cover would be perfectly composed and devastatingly beautiful.
We have all three posters in the gallery. The Avengers will be in theaters on May 4th. If you're feeling adventurous, you can do the Ultimate Marvel Marathon on May 3rd: an all-day viewing of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, and then The Avengers at select theaters. Bring your Stadium Pals.
