For some reason it hasn't quite dawned on me that I'll be seeing The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey next week at midnight. The original Lord of the Rings Trilogy came out when I was in college, and I remember going to the midnight shows for each one as a nice reprieve from finals. I'm sure some of that feeling will come back once I'm in line eating take-out with friends before the movie. I may even shed a single tear.
Anyways, there's a new Hobbit TV spot above, and we also have the four collector's edition covers for the new Entertainment Weekly coming out tomorrow. The new issue will feature a fist look at the next Hobbit film, The Desolation of Smaug. (I would have proposed The Burnination of Smaug as a subtitle, but that's just me.)
