Ridiculously expensive Harry Potter books chronicle films
We're all set to assume that for some Harry Potter fans $1,000 is chump change for a limited edition set of eight books that chronicle the characters move from the written word to the big screen. There are definitely people out there who will see a scaled model of The Monster Book of Monsters and think, "Hell, I'd pay $1,000 for that alone." Thankfully for the rest of us there's Amazon who has the book collection on sale for just $600. Yes, for only $600 (and that's probably only good for this week) you can be the owner of eight separate books (full list below) collected together in a special Harry Potter container thing. There are only 3,000 being made in the entire world so this is legitimately a collectors item, and one of the books is a special edition that you'll never be able to get again. The rest feature a bunch of content never before seen. This is actually quite a cool collectors item for anyone that can afford to lay down that kind of money. For those that can't we can just look at the pictures. [via /Film] • A cloth-covered case, styled to look like a shelf from a shop in Diagon Alley Did you know?
