James Marsden, or otherwise known as Cyclops from the X-Men trilogy, has been casted in Anchorman: The Legend Continues. According to Deadline, Marsden is to play a “rival anchor and nemesis to Will Ferrell’s Ron Burgundy in the sequel.” Recently, Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids) was confirmed to be co-starring, and that Terence Stamp (The Adjustment Bureau, Song for Marion) may be playing some sort of Rupert Murdoch role in the film.
Everything else so far in regards to the film has been kept under fairly tight lock and key so far. All we know is that the original line up of anchormen will be back, it releases in December 20, 2013, and that it appears that the humor will still be the same as before which is never a bad thing. I’m really going to have to watch Anchorman again soon.
