The pop culture references of Quentin Tarantino moviesQuentin Tarantino's films have always been rife with references: movies, actors, bands, songs, comic books, and so on. The people over at College Humor have compiled a lot of these pop culture references into a five-minute namedrop-a-thon video. Of course, this isn't every pop culture reference in Tarantino's filmography, just a lot of them made through the dialogue. To really get every one of the pop culture references, you'd also need to cite all the visual nods (e.g., the recreation of the shot in The Graduate in Jackie Brown) and all the audio cues as well (e.g., that little freak out song in Kill Bill lifted from Five Fingers of Death). Regardless, it's a pretty cool compilation. [College Humor via Collider] Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
