The Raid sequel takes place only two hours after original photo

How much silat can one man do in a day? If you've seen The Raid: Redemption (most needless subtitle ever) than you know that its hero basically fights constantly for at least half of a day. In the end though he fights everyone and they all die leaving him and his estranged brother in a semi-cliffhanger ending. You'd think he'd get a few weeks of rest after that.

Not so according to director Gareth Evans who tweeted that the film will pick up only two hours after the last movie ends. Hopefully the plot is a little deeper than our hero walking into the next building he comes across and getting trapped in that.

We probably won't have to wait long to find out as Evans also revealed that they start filming on January 19 and if The Raid was any indication he shoots fast and furious.

Megan's Top 15 Movies of 2014

2014 was a pretty great year for movies, so coming up with a year end list was pretty tough for me. Originally I thought I'd just do top 5, and then top 10... but no. It had to be top 15 because I saw so many awesome films last year, and it just wouldn't be fair to ignore the movies in the 11 through 15 slots.  So let's get the ball rolling...  more

Iko Uwais and other Raid 2 actors will be in Star Wars: The Force Awakens

This is why The Raid 2 is like nothing you've ever seen before

This isn't even the most impressive shot in that sequence! There's others that are even more complicated, but what makes it so awesome is that they did it all for real. No digital tricks, just great camera work. Most likely if you've got The Raid 2: Berandal you've seen this already in the making of, but god damn is that impressive. [via Reddit]more

Review: The Raid 2: Berandal

After the Credits: Why I gave The Raid 2: Berandal a 97
