Three new international posters for To The Wonder

I have to admit that I've never actually seen any of Terrence Malick's films. Not a single one. But these three new international posters for his upcoming film To The Wonder caught my eye because I glimpsed the faces of Ben Affleck, who I like quite a bit, and Javier Bardem, who I like quite a bit more. The trailer from the other day also seemed to describe a film that could be quite meaningful, so this may be the Malick film I've been waiting to cut my teeth on.

To The Wonder will see release in the states in April of next year and stars Javier Bardem, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, and Olga Kurylenko.

Review: To the Wonder

First let me get this out of the way: if you didn't like Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life, steer clear of To the Wonder. The untethered camera lingers like mad, and To the Wonder is rife with various other Malickisms. There...

First clip from Terrence Malick's To the Wonder

This first clip for Terrence Malick's To the Wonder may not be the stuff of excitement, but it does demonstrate some wonderfully subtle film making and cinematography. There's hardly any dialogue, and what is spoken sou...

Review: Argo

In 1979, as the Iranian Revolution was reaching its peak, the American Embassy in Tehran was overrun by revolutionaries and its occupants were taken hostage, a situation that had come to a head as the result of several factor...

Will the Wachowskis direct the Justice League movie?

Ben Affleck told 24 Hours Vancouver that he will NOT be directing the Justice League movie. You may recall a previous report that Affleck was under consideration for the film. He said the following in the interview: "I'm not...

Ben Affleck may direct WB's Justice League movie

Here's a welcome surprise! Ben Affleck, who's proven infinitely more talented as a director than he ever was as an actor (and f**k y'all, I love Ben Affleck as an actor), is now being approached by Warner Brothers to direct t...

Review: The Town

First let me get something off my chest. Ben Affleck, just like his superior actor friend Matt Damon, did not come up from the mean streets of Boston, Massachusetts. Watching The Town I think I twitched a little when I heard ...
