James Rolfe, the Angry Video Game Nerd, is someone with a very entertaining web series in which he reviews old, most likely awful, games and then laces those reviews with abundant amounts of profanity and hilarity. Last year, James asked his fans for help funding a movie project that he's been working on for awhile. And Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie is the fruit of that labor.
The movie looks to follow James, and friends, as they try and find the totes real Atari's E.T. the Videogame burial ground from before that market crash back in 1982. Also, there's aliens because the burial site was near Roswell, New Mexico.
Look, I'll just say this right out. Regardless of what you think about the trailer, you have to give the guy some props for creating something totes for himself and his fans. It's kind of nice. I expect the film to have a cult following online for sure since the film seems to be one really long episode of his web show.
