Black Rock (Katie Aselton, Kate Bosworth, and the extremely lovely Lake Bell) follows three women as they camp on a deserted island (because that's what you do, obvi duh) as they have a run in with three war veterans who're hunting them down after a make out session takes a dark turn.
While the trailer for Rock makes the story seem a little clunky, I'll admit that I'm a big fan of the "people hunting people" subgenre. It always makes for some good character development and cheap thrills. If the three main women don't have any personality, however, it might make it hard for me to root for them. As long as I care whether or not they survive, I'll call it a win. Black Rock releases May 17 next year.
