Trailer: John Dies at the End (Red Band)
I had some former knowledge of the book John Dies at the End by David Wong, and I knew that it was essentially batsh*t insane, but this is the first trailer I've seen for the film adaptation, and woo boy is it ever wacky. I don't even know how to begin to describe it, let alone hide the fact that I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE RIGHT NOW. Gratuitous violence to the point of absurdity, inter-dimensional planes of existence, boobs; what isn't there in this film? It even has f**king Paul Giamatti! PAUL GIAMATTI! 'Nuff said. John Dies at the End release on VOD December 27th and will be hitting theaters January 25th. Directed by Don Coscarelli (Phantasm, The Beastmaster, Bubba Ho-Tep) and starring Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, PAUL GIAMATTI, Clancy Brown, and Doug Jones, the film looks like it's going to be one hell of a mind trip.
