Trailer: Kick-Ass 2

Now with more Hit-Girl!

The International version of the Kick-Ass 2 trailer is far better than the previous Red Band version. Instead of highlighting the scene stealing Jim Carrey's Colonel Stars and Stripes and noticeable flaws like the awful green screening, we get a little more of Chloe Moretz's Hit-Girl and her plot. Well, not really. It's more of her theme throughout the film as she tries to become a "normal girl" despite her Hit-Girl side.

I hope Kick-Ass 2 is more of a Hit-Girl movie than all of that other junk with Kick-Ass himself. The Motherfucker was a great idea at first, but now I'm already annoyed with it. Kick-Ass 2 releases August 16th.

The last trailer for Kick-Ass 2 left me very un-enthused for the film. It just didn't seem to have the same dark comedic streak that the first one had. With a new director and screenwriter that makes sense, but it just ...

I loved the original Kick-Ass comic. It was classic Mark Millar, the John Romita, Junior art fit the content wonderfully, and it had a little girl that cut dudes to ribbons. The sequel was considerably darker, as it shou...
