Trailer: LawlessYou may remember Lawless under its original title, The Wettest County in the World. It's John Hillcoat of The Proposition and The Road paying homage to the Wild West-ish world of country liquor bootlegging. Booze runners Tom Hardy and actual cannibal Shia LaBoeuf have to avoid the law, in the form of a smarmy, dangeous Guy Pearce and a local moonshine baron played by Gary Oldman. The book this film is based on is notorious for incredibly graphic depictions of violence, and this trailer definitely shows a very brutal sensibility. I mean, it's a John Hillcoat movie. Of course it's going to be brutal. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
