Trailer: Sound City
Sound City is an upcoming documentary headed by Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame. The documentary centers on the titular music studio in Van Nuys, CA, and features interviews with artists that have recorded at Sound City, including members of Rage Against the Machine, Fleetwood Mac, Metallica, and Nine Inch Nails. The film will also analyze how the music recorded at the studio has impacted the entire industry itself, as well as "human element of music in an age of technology." Pretty interesting stuff for those that are into the sound technology (double pun!) behind music. Sound City will premiere at next year's Sundance Film Festival. Did you know?
