Trailer: Spring Breakers (Red Band)

8:30 AM on 02.27.2013

As the release of Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers approaches, a new red band trailer for the film has dropped. You've got the ladies (Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Benson), you've got the skeevy guy (James Franco), and you've got the Skrillex. Most of us could do without the skeevy guy or the Skrillex.

Spring Breakers is Korine's first feature film since 2007's Mister Lonely, though he did do the short "Lotus Community Workshop" for Vice's anthology film The Fourth Dimension. (Trash Humpers from 2009 is barely a movie and doesn't count.) We highlighted some international Spring Breakers character posters not too long ago which should also keep you interested in the movie.

In the gallery: a cool new poster for Spring Breakers as well as the cover from the latest Cahiers Du Cinema. (I know -- friggin' Cahiers Du Cinema. Kinda nutty.) After the cut, a short making-of featurette. Spring Breakers hits NY and LA on March 15th and expands to other cities March 22nd.
