Trailer: The Amazing Spider-Man

Apr 16 // Alex Katz

This Japanese trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man gives us just a little bit of a better look at Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man in action, but, more importantly for fans, it gives us our first real glimpse of Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben and Sally Fields as Aunt May. These are two characters that are, arguably, more important to the Spider-Man story than any other side character in his entire history, and I've always thought it odd that they haven't really showed up until now.

We've also got the film's final two theatrical posters available in the gallery. There's not really a whole lot I can say about them. They're looking pretty good, all reds and blues and such. Saying a poster isn't offensive-looking in this day and age is such weirdly positive criticism, but it's the best we can do sometimes.
