Trailer: The Host

5:00 PM on 11.13.2012

The Host is essentially Twilight with aliens since Stephanie Meyer wrote the novel the film is adapted from (read into that however you will). Think The Faculty if that movie dragged on longer, think Invasion of the Body Snatchers if that movie was terrible, hell, think of Animorphs without the cool animal powers and you've got yourself The Host.

When the aliens finally get you, you get these cool glowy eyes...so there's that. To give The Host some credit though, it'd be interesting to see Melanie Stryder, the main character, internally fight with her passenger. On the other hand, it looks like the aliens invade to just hang around Earth for no reason. Oh yeah, the poster for the film is in the gallery below also if you're inclined to gander at it or whatever.
