I remember hearing about the story that documentary film The Imposter documents on the radio at some point and being absolutely flabbergasted by it. It's truly insane to think that a man could trick so many people into believing he was someone else entirely simply because they wanted to believe. That's what happened though and above you'll see the first trailer for the documentary about it.
We got to check the movie out at SXSW this year and were big fans of it. It simply tells what an unbelievable story incredibly well and, more importantly, makes you understand how everyone could fall for what turns out to be an incredible con job. It's a rare documentary that incorporates both talking heads and reenactments and doesn't come of like an episode of Americas Most Wanted, but The Imposter definitely does that.
