Trailer: Zero Dark Thirty

Oct 12 // Thor Latham

Considering it's the greatest manhunt in history, I couldn't spot Waldo even once

I have to say Zero Dark Thirty is looking much more interesting than I had originally given it credit for. I was expecting something in the field of a straight up military drama akin to Black Hawk Down, but it looks like this film will cover more ground. The Hurt Locker was one of those movies that kind of came out of nowhere for me, but I was pleasantly surprised by it and its strong performances. If this trailer is any indication, I think we can expect something of similar quality from this film.

For thoroughness' sake I'll inlcude a quick synopsis courtesy of IMDB:

A chronicle of the decade-long hunt for al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks, and his death at the hands of the Navy SEAL Team 6 in May, 2011.

Oh, and Mark Strong is awesome.
