Two new TV spots for Oz the Great and Powerful
Sam Raimi gets my instant attention no matter what, and so every glimpse of his upcoming Oz the Great and Powerful is something I'm happy to receive. During the New Years festivities Disney took the time to toss out these two quick spots for the film and relate it to the New Year countdown. Not very cleverly or anything, but they did it. There's not much new to see here as far as content goes, though the Wicked Witch in a fire hurricane looks pretty badass. You'll get more out of the previously trailers, but these are still fun to get a kick out of even if it feels like we're watching a Alice in Wonderland sequel a bit. [via First Showing]

12:30 PM on 03.08.2013 Review: Oz the Great and PowerfulYou may or may not know it, but Sam Raimi is a director with a very specific style and thanks to the success of Spider-Man he's usually allowed to let that style run wild. It's an awesomely lavish style that feels both n...
