Alex Katz, not to be confused with the famous painter, basically did nothing in college but watch movies, write about them, and try in vain to learn computer animation. One time, he watched the long tracking shot at the end of Children of Men six times in a row. It was basically the best day of his life. He has also written three screenplays that, God willing, no one will ever be forced to read again.

Tonight, on a very special episode of The Flixist Show...

Someone will probably get molested. Not Spider-Man, though. He's already been...handled. Tonight is actually a very special show, and we're going to have a good chunk of the staff dropping by at random points throughout. Why is it so special, though? You'll just have to find out! Anyway, ask us your questions!

Finally, a trailer for the Die Hard sequel no one really asked for from the director of the Max Payne movie no one wanted! Kidding aside, there's no story to find in the first trailer, just a lot of punches and sho...

Flixist Movie Club: Loopercast

It's the return of the Flixist Movie Club, this time dissecting Rian Johnson's Looper! Surprisingly, this is a very coherent, not-disturbing show, so if you're looking for someone to get raped, it's sadly not going to happen....

Despite all logic, Boondock Saints 3 may be happening

The Boondock Saints is a deeply stupid yet occasionally entertaining Tarantino rip-off("There was a FIREFIIIIIIIIGHT!"). Its sequel is pretty much the most godawful thing imaginable. According to star Norman Reedus, Troy...
