Watch this video tribute to the 2013 Oscar snubs

11:00 AM on 01.18.2013

With the silver medals come and gone (along with some very big surprises), now we're busy waiting for the increasingly irrelevant Academy Awards. And admittedly there were a few surprises there as well, as plenty of good films (and directors) were snubbed in favor of...well yeah.

So Nick Bosworth over at JoBlo put together a video compilation of this year's Oscar snubs. While he's mostly on the money (especially noting that Ben Affleck, Kathryn Bigelow or Quentin Tarantino weren't nominated for Best Director even if they won a bunch of silver medals), there are questionable decisions like The Dark Knight Rises. As good as that film was (it wasn't), it does not deserve an award. Neither does Cloud Atlas. Or Samuel L. Jackson who pretty much was Samuel L. Jackson in Django Unchained. What do you all think? Do you agree with these "snubs"?
