'Cabin Fever' is getting a remake

Quick, somebody find a cure!

According to sources at Bloody Disgusting, a remake of Eli Roth's Cabin Fever has been greenlit by an unnamed company. Evan Astrowsky (producer of the original Cabin Fever) and Cassian Elwes (producer of Dallas Buyers Club and Blue Valentine) have been tapped to produce the remake.

This comes after the recent release of Cabin Fever: Patient Zero and cancellation of Cabin Fever: Outbreak. Indomnia, the production company behind Patient Zero, will not be involved, having recently closed its North American base of operations. There is currently no word on Eli Roth's involvement.

I mean, none of this really matters unless get have a return of the Pancake Kid. That's at the top -- and the entirety -- of my wishlist.
