A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 2 gets a second trailer

Look away, look away

A Series of Unfortunate Events was one of my favorite book series growing up. It was morbid, dark, and had a very British sense of humor. Thus far, Netflix has been doing a bang up job adapting the series. Season 1 had plenty of twists and turns that actually improved on the source material in ways you would never expect.

With Netflix debuting a second trailer today, it looks like Season 2 is going to be just as good as the first. It appears we're getting a complete adaptation of book 5 through book 9 which should excite anyone that's read the series. Book 7, in particular, will be fun for newcomers to experience for the first time. Season 2 plans to have fires, skull surgery, a boarding academy, an elevator, a circus, hungry lions, and of course, Neil Patrick Harris returning as the delightfully evil Count Olaf.

A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 2 drops on Netflix March 30th.
