Agents of SHIELD gets Thor: The Dark World crossover

Which is pretty much what the show was made for.

If you haven't watched Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show on ABC, you're not missing out on much. It's full of bland characters in bland action scenes speaking blandly as they bland their way through bland dialogue. And then if you somehow forgot that it's a show set in the same universe as The Avengers, the characters have to mention the events of that film at least five or six times an episode. But that's all okay though since Agents of SHIELD will finally accomplish what it originally set out to do: advertise the Marvel movies.

In an event that I hope isn't a terrible, terrible precedent, the November 19th episode of the series (titled "The Well") takes place in the aftermath of Thor: the Dark World (releasing November 8th). Directed by Johnathan Frakes (?), the episode will not feature guest stars from the film but it might be good to pick up if you liked the movie. Me? I'll probably not watch this episode until I've seen Thor 2.
