Alaska is forever brutal in the Hold the Dark trailer

There's more than wild animals

There's such a thing as wolf experts, go ask Jeremy Renner (Wind River) and Liam Neeson (The Grey). Add Jeffrey Wright as the newest member of the group. In Hold the Dark, after three deaths and a missing six-year-old, the boy's mother enlists the help of Russell Core, wolf hunter extraordinaire. The ensuing events reveal there may be something much larger behind the mysteries of the Alaskan wilderness.

The film also stars Alexander Skarsgård, James Badge Dale, and Riley Keough, and is directed by Jeremy Saulnier fresh off his horror thriller Green Room. The adaptation is taken from the book by William Giraldi of the same name and is slated for release on Netflix on September 28th.
