Artist creates gorgeous and unofficial movie posters

A Los Angeles based artist who goes by the name Midnight Marauder has been quietly pumping out some incredible, unofficial movie posters over the last few years. Midnight Marauder (let's call him/her MM) seems to be inspired by a mix of old and new movies, covering everything from classics like Once Upon A Time in the West, to new classics like The Shining to 2012 blockbusters like Looper and Prometheus.

It seems that often MM likes to design with the current Criterion Collection covers in mind, but other times MM ditches that style and comes up with something that really fits that particular movie. Check out a few of the designs below! You can find many, many more on Midnight Marauder's website.
