Things are rolling right along for Batman vs. Superman. We’ve got casting (and not casting), a screenplay by David S. Goyer and now shooting plans. The massive picture will be heading to Detroit to do some filming and also give the ghost city some income. At least in Detroit when Superman demolishes a building you know there’s no one living in it.
Low Detroit blow? Sorry. The release says that they’ll be filming the moving starting in 2014 and not just in Detroit, but across the great state of Michigan. This will net the production a cool $35 million in tax breaks, which will all go into making sure Superman actually act like Superman this time around.
I think we probably won’t get too much more news on this for a while until they let drop who will be playing the villain in the film. I’m really just hoping for another image so we can stop using that stupid looking logo.[via Collider]
