By BoJack Horseman is underrated. It’s been one of my favorite Netflix originals since it’s premiere, contrasting cartoony visuals with a depressing story about narcissism, loss and excess. Not to mention the premise and the style of this show feel entirely idiosyncratic; there really isn’t a whole lot on television (okay, Netflix?) like BoJack.
This style carried over into today’s reveal of the release date for BoJack Horseman Season 5. The BoJack twitter account, apparently run by BoJack himself, revealed the release date for the upcoming season after countless requests and pleads from fans about when BoJack is coming back. The answer: September 14th, 2018.

It isn’t hard to imagine BoJack revealing the release date in such an impromtu way, either. It seems that with so little time to go, BoJack is just as impatient as the rest of us to get Season 5 into the reach of the public.
