Box Office Numbers: Arrested Development

0

What a holiday weekend, huh? As if Fast & Furious 6 wasn’t a big enough draw to theaters this weekend, the (hopefully) final installment in The Hangover trilogy also debuted. Of course, one of these films did ridiculously well at the box office while the other… did moderately well. The Hangover Part III made a respectable $50m+. Fast & Furious 6, however, made a resounding $120m+. To put this into perspective, last week’s box office king Star Trek Into Darkness, has only made $30m more than the superhero car movie.

As if a major blockbuster film release wasn’t enough, Netflix also released the fourth season of Arrested Development. If you’re anything like the AD fan the Flixist staff consists of, you have probably already watched through the season’s 15 episodes, possibly more than once. Thoughts? Questions? Anger?

The rest of this weekend’s box office numbers are below.
