Box Office Numbers: Hammer Down

0

Just as I predicted last week, Ender’s Game didn’t matter since Thor: The Dark World got audiences hammered last weekend. What I didn’t see coming, however, was how much Ender’s Game was going to get tossed by the wayside. Dropping to fifth place (after last week’s well performing films) making barely over $10 million. That’s a significant drop in ticket sales and interest. I guess only one fantasy film was going to survive, but Thorton Hears a Two deserves it. It’s quite good.

Other notables? 12 Years A Slave, although still in seventh place, managed to make $2 million more dollars than last week. And About Time finally cracked the top ten. Hit the jump for the box office performances from last weekend.
