Check out new photos of the new USS Enterprise bridge

Everyone knows by now that J.J. Abrams’ new Star Trek series is able to boldly go where no one has gone before. Since it has essentially rewritten how the Star Trek universe plays out, why not jazz up the looks of it as well? Scott Chambliss is the production designer for Star Trek Into Darkness, and he has an awesome redesign for the USS Enterprise bridge.

The amount of detail put into this set is simply astonishing. While we have no idea how much time the film will spend on the bridge itself, we can say that it will just help add to the atmosphere. Plus who doesn’t like buttons, knobs, and shiny things?

Thanks to io9 for these new and great photos. Check out the gallery below for a better look at them!
