By Did you see The Man With the Iron Fists? If you didn’t, fix that right now. My point is, Dave Bautista’s character, Brass Body, is probably the closest thing I’ve ever seen to an actual living Drax the Destroyer. Good thing since according to THR, Bautista will join Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy. And Drax’s official character bio seems right on the money:
Drax is a human resurrected as a green warrior with the sole purpose of killing Thanos (the villain in the final-scene tease of Avengers). His powers include flight, super-strength and energy blasts.
YES. I have all the confidence this will be great now. If any of you doubt Bautista’s acting chops, just remember that like Dwanye Johnson, he got his start pretending wresting was real in the WWE. If GOTG takes off, we could be looking at a new action star here folks.
