Deadpool is Celine Dion's next big Titanic moment

I expected this to be much more of a joke

I'm not really sure what a dramatic ballad like Celine Dion's "Ashes" is doing on the Deadpool 2 original soundtrack, or why there's a music video for it, or how it's not entirely a joke.

This just feels about as out of place as Wonder Woman did in the disastrous DC Cinematic Universe. It evokes questions like, "what," "how," and "is this for real?" Is it the subtle irony of Deadpool in heels prancing around Celine?

Please, enlighten us in the comments. Also, vote yes or no: is that Ryan Reynolds performing? Part of me thinks yes.
