Details, release date for Nolan's new film Interstellar

Science fiction pic coming November, 2012

It appears that one of my concerns over Nolan taking of the DC universe is slighty assuaged as Deadline is reporting that his science fiction film Interstellar, written by his brother, will be released on November 7, 2014. Guess he'll have some time to work on other things then.

The movie, which once had Stephen Spielberg's interest, is based on theories of theoretical physicist, and all around smart fellow Kip Thorne and has something to do with wormholes and time travel. It sounds like they're trying to get pretty cerebral with the film, which I don't think would surprise anyone. The film will be distributed by Paramount in the U.S. and WB overseas, which is something I'm sure you care a lot about.

While Nolan doing sci-fi sounds awesome I'm seriously bummed as this pretty much takes him out of contention to direct the next Bond movie despite Mendes leaving
